The Science Of Nondestructive Testing

Nondestructive testing uses science and math to make measurements and inspections. There is a large number of different NDT methods used and they all use some form of energy to collect information. Some of the more common methods used are electricity, magnetism, X-rays, and sound as the energy form. These materials were prepared to teach the science of nondestructive testing. Through these materials we hope to spark or fuel your interest in science by showing you how scientific principles fill the world around us. We also hope to introduce you to the field of nondestructive testing and encourage you to study science as you prepare for careers in our ever increasing technical world. We may even teach you a little physics! Select a topic and begin to explore and experience!
